Solely standing waves of a Japanese bamboo flute are the foundation of this electronic instrumental track at 120BPM, the original Shakuhachi sound being modified and mangled with sampling techniques. Bondcigi has teamed up for this track with Alfons Sproll who carefully adjusted the air blown over the edge of the flute’s mouth hole to the natural frequencies of the air column in the Shakuhachi, a 30cm + 8x3cm long traditional waveguide of Chinese origin.
